I've used and loved an Ooni Karu 12 for about 3 years now - about 2.5 using a variety of wood chunks (pecan, oak and apple), and the past 6 months using the gas attachment. Gas is much easier to use for consistent temps at the lowest effort, but my pies were still coming out a little pale and soft. Not bad, but I'd reached the limits and tortured myself over why my seemingly perfect dough wouldn't snap into shape and texture.
The Gozney Arc XL is compartively a behemoth. 4" wider, with a burner that could power a 737 and a stone thicker than my older brother's skull, I've only made 3 pies but the machine delivered. Temp gauge is reasonably accurate, though I'd still get a cheap IR gun if you're a perfectionist. This was the step up I needed to elevate my homemade Neapolitan pies from good to better than my local restaurants. I don't own a grill after a cross-country move, and now I don't feel like I need one. For one, let my friends host the grill-outs. For two, this seems flexible enough for some occasional salmon filets (with the right accessories), roasted veg, etc. And Leisure Time shipped my machine extremely quickly and with care. No regrets.

I’ve had to replace the pillow several times over the years. My tub is 13 years old and they start to denigrate after awhile. This one feel a little stiffer than others I got from dealer but it was much less money so I’m happy!

Leisure Time has been great. They have always answered E-Mails and my phone calls. My Gozney pizza arrived with a little chip in one of the stones. Temp gauge has a little issue. I thewill help me get these minor issues fixed. The oven is AMAZING!! It’s built like a Beast. I have a Ooni 16 and a PizzaParty Emozone but nothing compares to the Gozney.
