📦 Most orders over $150 ship free. If your cart total reaches $150 (after any discounts) and your items aren't on the flat rate list below, your order ships free anywhere in the contiguous U.S.

For items that are oversized, exceptionally heavy, or require freight handling, we charge a flat rate based on weight category — much less than what carriers like UPS or FedEx would charge for the same item at standard rates. This page lists every flat rate tier and which products fall into each, so you know exactly what shipping will cost before checkout.

Carriers like UPS and FedEx charge premium freight rates for oversized, heavy, or specialty-handled items — often $100, $200, or more for a single product if you were charged at retail rates. We negotiate freight discounts and absorb the difference so customers pay a predictable, lower flat rate instead of carrier-rated shipping that varies by ZIP code.

The four flat rate tiers are calibrated to actual handling and freight costs:

• Medium weight ($25): Heavier than parcel-rate items but still ground-shippable
• Heavy weight ($35): Larger or heavier products that require additional handling
• Massage chairs ($150): Bulky, fragile items requiring freight delivery and proper handling
• Fireplaces ($250): Oversized freight requiring special equipment and often LTL (less-than-truckload) carrier service

These rates often save customers significantly versus what carriers would charge at retail freight rates for the same products.

All massage chairs (excluding the Positive Posture Sol Massage Chair, which falls under the Heavy Weight $35 tier above) ship at a flat rate of $150.

This includes massage chairs from OHCO, Positive Posture (excluding Sol), and other brands carried at LTI. The flat rate covers freight delivery, scheduling, and the additional handling these large, fragile items require.

All fireplaces — gas fireplaces, electric fireplaces, fireplace inserts, and stoves — ship at a flat rate of $250, regardless of weight or model.

Fireplaces require freight (LTL) delivery, often with curbside drop-off scheduled by appointment. The $250 flat rate covers the freight cost, scheduling, and the specialty handling these oversized items need to arrive in good condition. For comparison, retail freight rates for the same shipment often run $400–$700.

The $99 minimum is calculated on the discounted subtotal of eligible items in your cart, after any promo codes are applied. Flat rate items don't count toward the $150 threshold (since they have their own shipping cost). A few notes:

• Promo codes: If a promo code drops your eligible subtotal below $150, free shipping no longer applies. Watch the cart's "you are X away from free shipping" indicator after applying any codes.
• Mixed carts: If your order has both eligible items (over $150) and flat rate items, the eligible portion still ships free; the flat rate items are charged their individual rate on top.
• Tax and gift cards: Sales tax and gift card purchases don't count toward the $150 threshold.
