Overview

Instant Frog destroys bacteria. The patented mineral formula in the INSTANT FROG neutralizes acids, which helps keep the pH in an acceptable range with less monitoring. The controlled release of minerals provides optimum protection in the pool. The INSTANT FROG Mineral Formula+ reduces chlorine use up to 50%*.

Directions

For in-ground pools up to 25,000 gallons. This product is compatible with pool chemicals except biguanides and bromine. Before using INSTANT FROG as the pool maintenance product, balance the pH to between 7.2 and 7.8 and total alkalinity between 80-120 ppm and shock the pool with a chlorine shock per the manufacturer's directions. 

1. Set reminder dial on INSTANT FROG to 6 months from the date of installation. Turn dial by hand or with a coin if needed. 
2. Remove skimmer cover.
3. Remove skimmer basket handle if necessary and insert INSTANT FROG into the skimmer basket. 
4. If using INSTANT FROG with a suction side automatic cleaner installed through the skimmer, it will be necessary to use a vac plate that may come with the skimmer or automatic cleaner.
5. Once installed, maintain recommended chlorine levels of at least 0.5 ppm in the pool by using an EPA registered source of chlorine approved specifically for swimming pools or a chlorine delivery device.
