The DuraVent 3PVP-HC2 PelletVent Pro Chimney Cap is a high-performance termination cap designed specifically for horizontal venting of pellet and biofuel-burning appliances. With a 3-inch diameter, it efficiently directs exhaust gases away from the home while preventing backdrafts, moisture intrusion, and debris entry. Its adjustable gore design allows the cap to be rotated to direct the exhaust in the desired direction, and it is engineered to create a venturi effect that enhances the draw and expulsion of exhaust gases. Built for durability, the chimney cap features a laser-welded, super-ferritic stainless steel inner wall that resists corrosion caused by burning wood pellets, corn, and other biofuels, paired with a stainless steel outer wall for added protection. Certified to UL standards for 1-inch clearance to combustibles in both the U.S. and Canada, it ensures safe and reliable operation.
