The FROG® @ease SmartChlor® Replacement Cartridges (3 Pack) is the universal refill multi-pack for any spa using a FROG @ease system. Each cartridge is the chlorine-generating half of the @ease pair, designed to release a low, steady level of sanitizer while working in tandem with the FROG @ease Mineral Cartridge.
For most spa owners, SmartChlor® cartridges are the most frequently replaced piece of the @ease system — each one lasting about 3–4 weeks of normal use. A 3-pack covers roughly three months of soaks, which is the cheapest and easiest way to keep water care running smoothly without scrambling for a refill mid-month.

What makes FROG® different from regular chlorine or bromine?
FROG uses minerals as a first line of defense, which lets it sanitize with a much lower level of chlorine or bromine than traditional systems. Do FROG® cartridges really reduce how much chlorine I use?

How often do I replace the cartridges, and do I still need to shock?
Replacement timing depends on the product and your usage — mineral cartridges generally last for months, while sanitizer cartridges are swapped more often (the system's indicator tells you when). You'll still add a periodic shock to keep water freshly oxidized, but typically far less often than a fully manual program requires. Always follow the schedule printed on your specific product's packaging.
