Cloudy water is a particle problem. Body oils, fine debris, and other microscopic matter break down into particles so small they slip right through your filter's pores. Individually they're invisible, but together they cloud the water and scatter light, which is what you see as haze. No amount of filtering removes them, because they're smaller than the filter can capture.

SpaGuard Water Clarifier acts as a coagulant: it causes those scattered micro-particles to bind together into clumps large enough for the filter to trap. As the water circulates, the filter removes the newly formed clusters cycle after cycle, and the water clears. Pro Tip: Run the jets while dosing and for the full 30 minutes afterward. The clarifier needs circulation to distribute through the water and carry the clumped particles to the filter — adding it to still water won't give you the same clearing power.
