Overview
The GLB Filter Rinse is an effective sand filter backwashing aid that is very easy to use. In just one step, simply pour it in the skimmer during the backwashing process and watch the caked up contaminants wash away. After using this liquid formula, the sand filter particles in the filter housing will be rejuvenated and work at a higher efficiency. The GLB Filter Rinse is a necessary product to maintain crystal clear water in pools that use a sand filter. Filter Rinse is compatible with chlorine, bromine, ozone, and biguanide sanitizers.

Directions
Backwashing with plain pool water alone cannot fully remove caked-on oils and mineral deposits from each grain of sand. Filter Rinse renews the sand particles and keeps the filter operating at maximum efficiency to create crystal clear pool water with longer periods between backwashings. This is compatible with all sanitizers including bromine, chlorine, salt water, ozone, minerals, and biguanide.
- Close the main drain if possible to allow maximum intake from skimmer(s).
- Start the filter backwash as recommended by the manufacturer.
- While filter is backwashing, slowly pour 8 ounces of Filter Rinse into the skimmer so that it goes directly through the filter.
- Continue the backwash procedure according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Use the GLB Filter Rinse every time the filter is backwashed to maintain crystal clear water and maximum filter efficiency.
