    Directions

    1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure that the surface you will be applying the refractory cement to is clean, dry, and free of any debris or loose materials.

    2. Mix the Cement: Follow the manufacturer's instructions to mix the refractory cement with water in the appropriate ratio. Typically, you'll want to add water gradually to the cement powder until you achieve a thick, workable consistency.

    3. Apply the Cement: Using a trowel or similar tool, spread the mixed refractory cement evenly onto the surface you're repairing or lining. Work quickly as refractory cement can start to set relatively fast.

    4. Smooth and Shape: Use the trowel to smooth and shape the cement as desired. Ensure that it is applied evenly and fills any gaps or cracks completely.

    5. Allow to Cure: Let the applied refractory cement cure and dry according to the manufacturer's instructions. This usually involves allowing it to air dry for a specified amount of time or curing it with heat.

    6. Heat Curing (if applicable): If required by the manufacturer, subject the cured cement to gradual heating to fully cure it. This process may involve gradually increasing the temperature over several hours to ensure the cement sets properly.

    7. Test the Bond: Once fully cured, check the bond and integrity of the refractory cement to ensure it has adhered properly to the surface.

    8. Clean Up: Clean any tools or surfaces that came into contact with the refractory cement before it fully dried to prevent them from becoming permanently bonded.

    9. Dispose of Waste: Dispose of any unused refractory cement or waste materials according to local regulations.
